In this training, you will learn what APIs are and how they are used. Executing API tests is not only fast, but with automated tests at the API level, you can often test scenarios that are difficult or impossible to execute with automated UI tests.
In addition to the theory, extensive attention is given to various tools. Both a code-based tool and a tool with a graphical interface (UI) will be used. We will thoroughly discuss and experience the different advantages and disadvantages.
This training is intended for anyone who wants to deepen their knowledge of API testing, particularly testers and developers.
Experience with the basics of programming is a plus.
The training is given to a group of at least 3 and at most 10 participants, to ensure the quality of the training. The instructor will explain the practical applicability through real-world examples.
This classroom training is interactive in nature, which means there is plenty of time for asking questions or bringing in your own practical cases. Through exercises, you will work out several scenarios.
Participants are required to bring their own laptop with local admin rights.

Praat heel duidelijk en rustig, dus prettig om naar te luisteren. Deskundig en helpt iedereen goed op weg, omdat er ook aandacht is voor individuele vragen. Evt. tip: sommige opdrachten waren uitdagend (afh. van deelnemersniveau uiteraard). Soms had iets meer richting in de opdrachtomschrijving geholpen hebben bij het zelfstandig beginnen met de uitvoering van de opdracht. Uitdaging is daarbij natuurlijk wel dat je het ook niet wilt voorkauwen.
